I have a private practice with a disability-related niche. I perform medical records reviews on disability insurance claims and on Social Security disability claims and also offer psychological evaluations (IME&#8217;s) related to disability and workers compensation. I also pretend to be a writer sometimes. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m on a few active listservs for psychologists and I also have a lot of google alerts that send me news on psychology and mental health related topics. I figure around each week or so I&#8217;ll offer a blog post either talking about some of the recent news (for example, recently <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apa.org\/news\/press\/releases\/2016\/01\/gun-control-measures.aspx\">the American Psychological Association welcomed &#8220;gun control&#8221; in this press release<\/a>) or perhaps just writing about something psychology-related that I think would be good to write about.<\/p>\n<p>Many of the non-news items I may blog about may be related to disability claims or assessing functional impairment since that is the world in which I live and work.
